Control and testing of products for the automotive sector

Description of the supply

Robotic Island for 100% control and testing of filtration components by Automotiv sector. Through an anthropomorphic robot implemented with a vision system the presence of all the details previously assembled manually is checked and the dimensions of the screws and other important measures for the functionality of the component are measured.

Technology used

For the construction of the station an anthropomorphic robot was used with a range of action suitable for the dimensions of the component and a high resolution vision system for controls and measurements. A label printer interfaced with the station emits the label with the datamatrix that contains all the results of the control.

Distinctive elements

Flexibility and control precision are the distinctive elements of this application. The ease of implementation of features for future versions is the main feature.
